It’s the start of a new day for Food Trucks in the city.
The city’s first food truck will begin operating next month.
The Los Angeles Food Truck Collective, based out of the Mission district, will start operating on October 4, and its mission is to “celebrate the diversity of the Los Angeles food industry.”
The Collective hopes to provide customers with authentic Mexican and Asian fare that is inspired by authentic LA culture and history.
The Collective is a partnership between the Downtown Food Truck Association and the Downtown Los Angeles Association.
The association was established in 2011 and brings together more than 100 food trucks across the city, according to the Collective.
