The bed, which was unveiled in November at the International Truck & Trailer Expo, has a base price of $3,800 per foot and a suggested retail price of just over $3 million.
It’s more expensive than some other popular bed types on the market, including the X-7 and the R-17, but is also cheaper than a standard bed at $3.2 million.
The company’s CEO, Steve Bender, explained to The Verge that he’s happy with the price tag because the company has a great track record.
“We’ve been selling the bed for 10 years and the bed is the safest bed,” Bender said.
“I think it’s a good deal.”
Bender said Bedrock’s bed is designed to be built in the United States.
The biggest competitor, Bedrove, sells the same bed, but only at a higher price point.
While Bender did not have a price breakdown, the company’s bed price of more than $3 per foot is significantly more expensive.
In other words, Bender’s company is paying a premium for its bed.
In a statement to The Guardian, Bender said the company had been working on the bed “for years.”
“We have been working hard to find a way to deliver a product with a lower price point and lower price points in other markets,” he said.
Bender said he has a long-standing relationship with the U.S. military.
“As a contractor, we are an American company,” he added.
